Ascend provides services such as therapy/counseling, ABA therapy (Early Start Denver Model and behavior support services), and IEP help and advocacy for people with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families. We are based in Sacramento, CA and provide services in Sacramento, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, Elk Grove, Rocklin, and offer telehealth when appropriate.
Services for Schools and Agencies
Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)
We are available to contract with schools to conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA). An FBA is an essential tool to help understand the patterns and contributing factors that are at play when a child is having challenges in the school setting.
We will conduct a thorough evaluation that will include a record review, in-class observations, and a data collection period.
Following the evaluation we will provide written recommendations that can be incorporated into the student’s IEP.
